Isn't it strange that technology in Communications(ie handphone sms, blogs, msn) has taken away the personal touch yet creates a barrier-less distance amongst strangers?
Example, with blogs, sms and msn I admit I don't make as much effort as keeping in touch with my pals. I just read blogs and I know what they have been pretty much up to.
Like Agnes moved house, like Vanus has a boyfriend, Stella's going back Medan, many 21st birthday celebrations and such.
Or when I need to ask my pals on any matters, I usually email or msn them.
It took away the effort of calling, keeping in touch and such.
Yet I read random blogs and I seemed to know them.
Like Peggy's BF is back from India but flying away soon. Karen's children are about 3 and 5 years old.
But I don't know them personally really. I just know know them.
Strange huh, our world?
